Although born in San Francisco, I was raised in the small independent country of Malta, an island in the Mediterranean Sea - birthplace of my parents and resting place of my ancestors. It was there I learned to appreciate my rich heritage and develop my understanding of culture.
As a youngster growing up in Malta, I studied Art and in 1971 and at age 11 I received my first camera. I was influenced by the history of the Islands, the flavor of the Maltese people and by being the youngest of 24 siblings. Back then, everything I encountered was an exciting visual experience, which has definitely had a bearing on the direction of my life's journey and the way I photograph today.
As a young man, I returned to the United States and attended San Francisco City College where I majored in photography. In 1980 I photographed my first wedding and have had hundreds of happy customers since then. Photography is not just my job, it is my passion.

Capturing the special magic of your wedding in Hawaii is a great photographic art. Having studied and practiced both art photography and portrait photography most of my life, I take great pride in photographing your Hawaii Wedding day. I include each respective digital file for every photograph in our packages. In this way, you will be able to have your local photo lab make additional prints and enlargements of your wedding in Hawaii, very inexpensive! All photos are artistically enhanced and embellished in PhotoShop. Photographing your wedding in Hawaii is less than half of a photographer’s job. The larger portion of work is painstakingly done back in the studio, requiring great skill.
Value: You may be able to find wedding photographers in Hawaii who advertise for less, but I don't think you'll find anyone out there who is of a better value. You're not just paying for my experience -- you're also getting a lot of extras for your money. Even my smallest wedding package is huge compared to a lot of other local wedding photographers out there. I photograph every wedding personally and I also prefer to attend the wedding rehearsal, whenever it is possible. I work very hard at every wedding event.

I love to photograph a lot of candid and photojournalistic style photos. I also take all the family group shots and posing the two of you together for the romantics. I prefer to keep poses very natural, adjusted slightly so it looks perfect for the camera. My goal is to focus on capturing the essence of this very special day.
